“Celebrating a Centennial - it was amazing to imagine 100 years of wedding celebrations in at 134 Court Street, the space where we started our own story. It made winning the Best Of Lexington: Best Wedding Venue accolade that year (2022) even more exciting!

Established Roots. Current brick church building was built and occupied by Versailles United Methodist Church.
Growth.The building went through an extensive expansion creating the grand and spacious structure we see today! If you walk down the footpath to Big Springs Park you can see where the materials change from the original brick structure to the expansion with cinder blocks!
Restoration and Preservation. In 2018 the 134 complex was purchased by a small group of private investors and over the course of the next several months, the property was reimagined and renovated with weddings top of mind. The Galerie opened its doors for Fall 2018, with Jessica leading an incredible team dedicated to helping couples celebrate their special day at The Galerie's signature space in Versailles!
The Next Chapter. The Galerie's Signature Venue space in Versailles has resumed its original role as a place of worship, with the new owner and members of the congregation having a personal history with our beloved building. The final Weddings & Events season under Galerie Events ownership at 134 Court Street came to a close at the end of 2024. While 134 had our hearts and was a second home to our team, it was a time-intensive labor of love caring for a very large and historic building. Paving a new path for the space was done with warm hands and has given our team on opportunity to develop our creative services and flexibility of movement that we simply could not do before and we are so excited to bring our passion into a new season - life is Always Entertaining!

The Galerie was the first venue I looked at and I fell ok love from the minute I walked in! The gorgeous chandeliers took my breath away and then the bridal suite sealed the deal.
